Charles Fritts
Charles Fritts was the first ever person to invent a Solar Cell. The Solar Cell has been and still will be one of the greatest invention for our environment. Back then the Solar Cell hardly produced any electricity and affected the environment by only 1%. He was an electrician in New York and invented a "selenium solar cell".
